Anti-polio drive to begin in Balochistan on Monday

QUETTA (Staff Report) – An anti-polio drive will kick off across Balochistan on Monday.

Health authorities said that children aged five and below will be given polio drops with a special focus on Afghan refugees’ camps.

Preparations have been completed by the local administration to ensure that every child gets vaccinated against polio, according to the Online news agency.

A health official said that over 2.4 million children will be administered polio drops during the campaign, while a task force has been set up to monitor the whole drive.
