Citizens lodge sedition complaints against Nawaz

RAWALPINDI- Complaints have been filed against the former primer Nawaz Sharif, seeking the registration of a sedition case against him for comments he made, in an interview. about Mumbai attacks.

The complaint was lodged by Mohammad Ramzan, ameer Tehreek-e-Laibaik Ya Rasool Allah (TLYRA), and four other individuals with Gujjar Khan police. According to the complaint, the former prime minister’s comment is an act of treason.

Raja Zafar Iqbal, a resident of Chak Baili, filed a similar complaint against the former prime minister with the Civil Lines police. According to his complaint, Nawaz’s statement has harmed Pakistan’s image and has negatively impacted Pakistan’s war against terrorism and the sacrifices made by the army

The complaints are being sent to legal experts for an opinion.
