Wasim Akram has clean bowled us with his superb delivery in Salman Ahmed’s latest music video, in which the former cricketing legend can be seen alongside wife Shaniera Akram.
Also featuring the very gorgeous Rabia Butt, the music video for the song ‘Door Buhat Door’ was made to commemorate Junoon’s 25th anniversary.

While we were certainly not impressed by former Junoon member Salman’s poor sartorial choices, forced shots and mediocre vocals, we could not get over Akram’s acting skills, and how gorgeous he and Shaniera look together.
According to film-maker Humza Yousaf, the song is supposed to be about ‘life’s traffic jams’, intending to show how everyone is stuck with one thing or another in their lives.
Yousaf also stated that the he was trying to use the video to highlight the issue of society’s attitudes towards the girl-child. Towards the end, the couple engages in a very heated argument about how their second expected child too would be a girl.
The music video has been dedicated to singer-turned-preacher Junaid Jamshed, who, along with his second wife Nahya Jamshed, died in the unfortunate PK-661 plane crash on December 7, 2016.
Salman Ahmed, one of Junaid Jamshed’s closest friends, in a tweet claimed, “After 3 days of mourning, JJ would’ve wanted me to move forward in hope & freedom; the journey is the destination.”
