Four Afghan spies arrested in Karachi

KARACHI (Online) – Law enforcement agencies on Saturday arrested four officials of an Afghan intelligence agency in Karachi.

On a tip-off, the law enforcement agencies carried out a raid in Rizvia Society in Golimar and arrested four Afghan intelligence officials.

Pakistan’s intelligence agencies conducted a raid and arrested Afghan secret agents including Amanullah, Aziz, Abdul Ghaffar and Hikmatullah. All of them were living in Pakistan without any documents.

The intelligence agencies started the interrogations with all four arrested men who belong to Afghan province Ghazni. A case has been lodged against the four Afghan security officers in Rizvia police station under the clauses of Foreign Act.

Police said the accused were being interrogated about spying, targeted killings of police and other government officials and their links with the proscribed organisations.
