LG polls: Elections on reserved seats under way in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Polling is in progress to elect candidates on the reserved seats in Islamabad Metropolitan Corporation, reports Radio Pakistan on Thursday.

Newly elected Chairmen in 50 union councils are casting their votes to elect technocrat, women, youth, non-Muslims and workers on reserved seats.

Polling is being held on seventeen women, three youth, three peasants, three minorities and one technocrat seat. Polling will continue till 5pm.

The results will be announced on Monday.
