NEW YORK (Web Desk) – Protesting against Sunday’s shocking massacre in Orlando, a famous hackers group Anonymous hacked into the accounts of ISIS loyalists and tweeted rainbow flags, pro-LGBTQ messages and links to gay pornography websites.
An Anonymous hacker, who maintains his online identity as Wauchula Ghost, said this to Newsweek about the hacking move: “The taking of innocent lives will not be tolerated and I did it for the lives lost in Orlando.”
He explained that the hack was not directed towards Muslims, but the Islamic State militant group only, hence no Muslim should be offended. Many of the hackers are also Muslims, he added.
In the report, he claimed to have hacked over 200 Twitter accounts belonging to ISIS fans. The screen-grabs of all the hacked account have been shared on the hacker’s Twitter account.

On Sunday, a gunman identified as Omar Mateen killed 49 people at a gay nightclub in Orlando, before being shot dead by police. During the shooting Mateen had called 911 and pledged allegiance to Middle East-based militant group Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL/IS/Da’aish).
However, US President Barack Obama, in a speech, stated that there was no evidence of Omar Mateen’s having links to foreign terror groups.
The FBI director also told newsmen that the attacker was a lone wolf, adding that the reasons for the massacre were still being investigated.
