QUETTA (Staff Report) – After arresting the Balochistan Finance Secretary, National Accountability Bureau (NAB) officials have also arrested former provincial secretary Ali Bakhsh Baloch in connection with the province’s wheat scandal.
Along with former Balochistan food minister Asfandyar Kakar, Ali Bakhsh is co-accused in a case involving the embezzlement of government wheat amounting to Rs 29.2 crore.

NAB had charged the accused and the former minister for stealing 251,000 wheat bags gone from a government godown in district Pishin while the Pakistan Peoples Party led the government in the province.
