ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – A high-level meeting to review implementation status of decisions taken in last meeting of Pak-Afghan Joint Economic Commission was held in Islamabad on Monday with Finance Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar in chair.
The meeting discussed important bilateral issues regarding concerned different departments especially Commerce, FBR, Planning & Development, Communications, Housing and Works, Railways, Petroleum and Natural Resources.
It also discussed matters pertaining to Ministry of Water and Power, Ministry of Ports & Shipping and National Food Security.
Finance Minister directed ministries and departments concerned to conclude the preparatory work on priority.
He said the forthcoming JEC would largely help in achieving progress to this end.
Chairing another high-level meeting in Islamabad, Finance Minister said government attaches great importance to the well being of farmers’ community and would take all measures to facilitate them.
He expressed satisfaction on effective implementation of Kissan package throughout the country.
He emphasized on disbursement of agriculture credit during the current fiscal year to facilitate farmers.
