ISLAMABAD – The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has extended the deadline for filing of tax returns to Nov 30 amid poor compliance from taxpayers.
This is the fifth extension as the original deadline was set for Aug 31, which was later extended to Sept 30 and then to Oct 31, however the mounting demand from business community led to the extension for one more time.
The last dates for filing of returns of total income or statement of final taxation, and of income tax returns or statements of final taxation for individuals and association of persons (AoPs) have also been extended to Nov 30.
