NEW DELHI – India’s External Affairs minister Sushma Swaraj is suffering from kidney failure and is on dialysis at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Delhi.
“Presently, I am on dialysis. I am undergoing tests for a Kidney transplant. Lord Krishna will bless,” Swaraj said in a tweet on Wednesday.

The 64-year-old BJP leader, who has been suffering from diabetes for almost 20 years, was admitted to AIIMS on November 7 and is being monitored by a team of doctors.
Her condition is reported to be stable. “Her history of chronic diabetes has affected her kidney functioning. She is on dialysis,” the Press Trust of India reported quoting hospital sources.
