According to a report by The Hindustan Times, makers of Bigg Boss, the hit reality TV show have finally announced details of their upcoming and 12th season. The show makers have now decided that they will be looking for couples as participants.
The reason for this unexpected change is to boost up ratings as the show has seen a decided drop in the number of viewers it gets. Indian television channel, Colors TV, announced the change via this Tweet;

Although the tweet does not mention exactly what kind of couples they’re looking for, several reports suggest that they might be on the look out for romantic couples.
As per a report by The Indian Express a source mentioned that, “Bigg Boss is one of the most watched shows across the world and the show-runners make an effort to bring something new for its viewers every year. While the partner angle was played during the ninth season themed – Double Trouble – this would be special, as for the first time, contestants will get to participate with their loved ones.”
Amid court sentences and bail orders, it has also been confirmed that the show’s host, Salman Khan will be returning to the Bigg Boss stage.
