NEW DELHI (Web Desk) – India has has given clearance for visas for a six-member Pakistan Special Investigation team (SIT) that is expected to visit the country in connection with its probe into the Pathankot attack.
According to Indian media reports, India has granted visas to the Pakistan members for seven days.
However, the decision to finalise the dates for their visit to India has been left with the Indian high commissioner in Pakistan and foreign affairs ministry.
The officials said they expect the SIT to visit in the last week of this month but a formal confirmation from Islamabad is awaited.
