CHAMAN (Staff Report) – Iranian border authorities on Thursday handed over 161 Pakistani nationals to Pakistani border forces Taftan Border.
The Pakistani immigrants were arrested from different parts of Iran for having no residence permits and valid traveling documents.
The detained immigrants have been handed over to Federal Investigation Agency for further interrogation.
The deportees will now face a legal trial in Pakistan after production in the magistrate court. Most of them had also served in jail as per Iranian laws.
The move comes just two weeks after, Iranian security forces deported one hundred and thirty three Pakistani nationals for carrying illegal traveling documents.
