GUJRANWALA (Staff Report) – At least four terrorists were killed late on Tuesday during an operation by the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), Lahore in Aimenabad, near Gujranwala.
As per details, CTD foiled a plot that the suspected terrorists were planning to carry out. CTD conducted the operation in Aimenabad area where an exchange of fire began between CTD forces and the terrorists.
According to CTD sources, the suspects were planning terrorist activities in sensitive areas of Lahore, with a special focus on government buildings. Weapons, 3 pistols, two rocket launchers and other explosive were recovered from the terrorists killed in the encounter.
Three accomplices of terrorists managed to escape by taking the advantage of dark.
