ISLAMABAD – Foreign office spokesman Nafees Zakaria on Monday said India had miserably failed to manipulate BRICS countries forum for its anti-Pakistan propaganda.
“There is always a conflict in the words and deeds of Indian leadership. It tried to manipulate the economic forum of BRICS countries as a platform against Pakistan, but the Goa statement did not reflect its designs,” he told PTV during an interview.
Nafees said the Goa statement even did not mention the Uri attack.
He said Pakistan was successful using its relations with the Central Asian Republics, ECO member states and other rural areas to counter the Indian diplomatic manoeuvres.
The incoming and outgoing visits by the highest dignitaries were effective to counter India’s baseless narrative, he added.
