MUMBAI – Almost every cricket fan in India knows Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma is the girlfriend of Indian skipper Virat Kohli – but this is certainly not a question to be asked from students in a high school exam.
A Hindi high school in the western state of Maharashtra has sparked controversy for a question in Personal Training (PT) exam paper of ninth standard related to cricketer Viral Kohli, the Times of India reported.
Chacha Nehru Hindi High School in Bhiwandi city surprised the students by asking them to give the name of Virat Kohli’s girlfriend in the written exam of PT last week.
The multiple choice question had three options – in the answer – of actresses Priyanka Chopra, Anushka Sharma or Deepika Padukon.
The question paper related to the personal life of Indian skipper has now gone viral on social media. After the controversy, school principal A R Pandey blamed the PT teacher – who had prepared the exam paper – for the entire goof-up.
