Local court orders Matthew Barrett to be deported

RAWALPINDI (Web Desk) – Local Court has ordered United States (US) citizen Matthew Barrett to be exiled from Pakistan on Thursday.

The tribunal also took the bail pleas of two Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) officials who made the blacklist American at the airdrome.

According to details, the court ordered Matthew to be acquitted on the request of FIA.

Central Special Judge Naeem Arshad also accepted the bail plea of the two FIA officials Asif and Ehtesham for Rs 100,000 apiece.

According to sources Matthew Barrett’s visa has been cancelled and he’ll be sent back to the US as soon as possible.

The Huston Consulate officer Sadia Altaf Qazi had approved Matthew’s visa. Her statement has also been recorded.
