ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan has asked workers and party leaders to get prepared for countrywide protests if government fails to form judicial commission to probe rigging allegations.
The announcement came in dharna convention arranged by PTI in the memory of azadi dharna which lasted for 126 days at D- Chowk in Islamabad.
“Our sit in against rigging has now ended and we are going to pay full attention to KPK for a real change”, he quoted. In the coming years the province where we have been ruling stand different from others, he added.
He announced several projects to be launched in KPK by the provincial government which included cleanliness movement, one billion new plants, better facilities in hospital and improved educational institutes.
We had ended the sit for the sake of national unity and still we hold the position, he said. He explained that current government came into power through illegitimate way but we will not part the nation apart for our political interests.
During his address he warned the federal government to establish much demanded judicial commission otherwise the same demonstrations may start again. We don’t want to halt the fight against terrorism, he added.
The convention was convened after Imran Khan made a special call on the occasion of New Year.
