DELHI (Web Desk) – Indian authorities have sent a legal notice to Pakistan International Airlines to shut their office in capital city accusing unlawful purchase, said Indian media.
The notice reads that the building was present at a deputed land and bought bypassing the land rules of India.
Pakistani high commissioner has confirmed that issuance of notice stating it an attempt to halt PIA’s operation in neighboring country. Every purchase was made according to India’s legal system but matter is under hearing in court, official explained.
India has also refused to extend visas of PIA officials on the other hand, pushing them to leave the country, alleged PIA sources on condition of anonymity.
PIA runs two flights per week operation from Lahore to Delhi and suspending this operation would result in more problems for the travelers already facing visa issuance problems from both sides, added official.
