ISLAMABAD – Vice Chairman of Chinese Central Military Commission, General Zhang Youxia was conferred Nishan-e-Imtiaz Military award in a ceremony held at Aiwan-e-Sadar in Islamabad.
Acting President, Sadiq Sanjrani conferred the award on the Chinese general. The ceremony was attended by all services chiefs, Chinese ambassador and other senior military and civil officers.
In a meeting with Vice Chairman of Chinese Central Military Commission General Zhang Youxia at the Aiwan-e-Sadr in Islamabad, Sadiq Sanjrani Pakistan and China were close friends, neighbours and trusted partners because their relations were based on mutual respect and trust.
Sadiq Sanjrani emphasized that Pak-China friendship was the cornerstone of Pakistan’s foreign policy and their defence relations were the guarantee of peace and stability in the region.
The Vice Chairman of Chinese Central Military Commission thanked the acting president, the government and people of Pakistan, and said Pakistan and China enjoyed a time-tested friendship which would further grow in the coming generations.
