KARACHI – Sindh High Court on Tuesday ordered immediate closure of liquor shops across the province.
The Cheif Justice of SHC asserted that by which law the liquor shops remain open throughout the year. CJ maintained that Director general Excise should recall the licenses awarded to shops as they were illegal.
The court ordered Sindh government to shut down all the liquor shops and submit report within two days. Hearing has been adjourned till October 24.
