ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – The Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) meeting presided over by Finance Minister Ishaq Dar in Islamabad on Saturday approved the PC-I of Neelum Jhelum Hydroelectric project.
Approval of Karakorum Highway phase II project of 118 kilometer road from Havelian to Thakot was also given.
Phase-II Fulbright scholarship support joint programme by Higher Education Commission and the USAID was also given in the meeting.
Besides, approval of Peshawar Karachi motorway, construction of Sukkur-Multan section of 392 KMs and National Highway N-70 Rakhi Gajj-Bewata of 32.651 KMs length East-West Road have also been approved in the meeting.
