The cricketer turned politician is much active on the social media platform but rarely interacts with anyone. He himself follows 19 accounts only including his former wife Jemima Goldsmith.
The daughter of PM Nawaz, Maryam Nawaz Sharif was at second place with 2.15 million followers. Maryam Nawaz is much active on Twitter, she interacts with followers on day to day basis.
Third slot regarding followers is occupied by Asad Umar of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf with 1.99 million followers.
Cheif Minister Punjab Mian Shehbaz Sharif with Twitter handle @CMShehbaz managed to earn 1.75 million followers. He keeps sharing progress regarding different projects in Punjab and displays his love for poetry as well.
Chairman of Pakistan peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the youngest of all above falls at number five in terms of followers. Bilawal tweets to 1.4 million followers.
It might be interesting that Gen. Asim Bajwa who heads Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) account has a following of 2.3million users.
