I want same result which happened when I last played in Kolkata: Imran Khan

KOLKATA (Staff Report) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman and cricket legend Imran Khan who is in Kolkata to watch the high-voltage Pakistan-India World T20 clash thanked Kolkata people for warm welcome and excellent hospitality.

The PTI chairman have been felicitated by West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. “It is a delight to play in Kolkata. I hope Pakistan achieve the same result which happened when I last played in Kolkata”, says Imran Khan.

In his short speech, Imran Khan appreciated the welcome Pakistan have been given in Kolkata.

Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis, Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag and great film starAmitabh Bachchan were also honoured on the occasion.

Tendulkar said: “Nice to see the stalwarts from Pakistan, we welcome them here … we hope for a fantastic match, let’s enjoy cricket above all.”

Amitabh Bachchan said that “may the better team win today’s match and peace prevail between India and Pakistan.”
