ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – A high level meeting chaired by Finance Minister Ishaq Dar in Islamabad on Thursday reviewed different options for restructuring of Pakistan International Airlines.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said government is determined to improve overall working of PIA and augment its passenger and cargo services through administrative measures, introduction of better equipment and enforcing financial discipline.
He said complete transparency shall be ensured for proposed restructuring and strategic partnership.
Chairman Privatization Commission presented a broad outline of the proposed restructuring plan which takes a holistic view of the National Flag Carrier’s administrative and financial matters, domestic and international services.
