India violates LoC at Karela sector again: FO

ISLAMABAD – Indian forces on Wednesday violated ceasefire twice along the Line of Control (LoC), Foreign Office spokesman said.

Foreign Office Spokesman Nafees Zakaria tweeted that Indian security forces violated ceasefire at Karela sector, which Pakistan army befittingly responded to.

Zakaria informed that the violations at the Karela sector began on Oct 19, midnight, adding that violation continued since 4 pm.

The ceasefire violation comes a day after Indian Foreign Secretary S Jaishankar said India will not stop people-to-people contact with Pakistan.

At least two Pakistani soldiers were martyred last month after India resorted to unprovoked firing at Line of Control.
