ISLAMABAD – President Awami Muslim League (AML) Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad has said that Supreme Court of Pakistan will not give a clean-chit to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in the Panama Case.
Talking to newsmen on Wednesday, Ahmad said that “history will be written tomorrow (Thursday)”. He stated that the court will order all state institutions to implement the orders.
“I am sure that corruption’s funeral will take place tomorrow,” Ahmad said.
Rasheed claimed that Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz is “gathering” its workers. He went on to say that PM Sharif uses his political workers.
The legislator opined that the PML-N were destined to commit foolish acts.
The Awami League president stated that PM Sharif should not be compared with former premier Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.
“Justice will prevail and corruption will lose,” Sheikh Rasheed noted.
The Supreme Court would announce the landmark Panama case verdict today at 2 PM for which the security in the capital has already been beefed up.
