Pakistan’s national flag carrier partners with Turkey’s Hitit for IT solutions

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), the national flag carrier of Pakistan and one of the largest airlines in the Asia-Pacific region, has chosen Hitit Computer Services to support its services with several IT solutions.

According to the agreement, PIA will process its operations via Hitit’s solutions in the passenger service systems, operational planning and accounting areas.

Hitit Computer Services has been named one of the Top 5 PSS providers in the field of aviation and travel IT systems.

The firm, with its experience and know-how acquired by significant airline companies operating for many years in Turkey, will play a vital role during digital transformation process of Pakistan International Airlines.

PIA operates a fleet of more than 30 aircraft. The airline operates scheduled services to 22 domestic destinations and 28 international destinations across Asia, Europe, Middle East and North America. The carrier’s growth continues unabated and the airline now operates globally, covering the entire domestic landscape and international destinations spread over 4 continents, operating nearly 100 flights daily.
