Zong, synonymous with 4G technology in Pakistan, has entered into a partnership with Xiaomi to develop and promote the 4G ecosystem in Pakistan. With over 2 million 4G subscribers and 4G coverage reaching 300 cities of Pakistan, Zong is committed to adding more investment in addition to bringing innovation and technology to the people of Pakistan.
Xiaomi’s decision to enter into this partnership with Zong is based on Zong’s fastest internet speeds and the widest 4G coverage in the industry. The partnership is geared to give a considerable boost to Xiaomi in their business venture in Pakistan.
In the 6 years since its inception, Mi has achieved significant success, with more than 61 million handsets sold in 2014. In Pakistan, Zong is the only cellular network to have entered into a partnership with Xiaomi, geared to give considerable support to develop the 4G ecosystem in Pakistan.
Redmi 4A and Mi Max, along with Mi Accessories are being launched on February 20th and the highly celebrated phone, Redmi Note 4, is expected to go live on the website soon after that. Smart Link Technologies will provide one-year official warranty and Zong provides an attractive 4G offer of 6GB Data for 6 months.
