Over dozen injured in Charsadda hand grenade attacks

CHARSADDA – At least 13 people including 7 seven children were injured when five hand grenade blasts hit Shabqadar, a district of Charsadda Saturday morning.

As per reports, unidentified assailants lobbed five hand grenades in different areas of the district apparently targeting civilians.

A grenade was thrown outside a school, injuring the gatekeeper and students, while in another attack in Mosulcor, area of Shabqadar, two were left wounded.

According to the police, the blasts left more than a dozen people injured, while no casualty has been reported so far. After the attacks, the police have started a search operation to trace the miscreants involved in the attack.

The injured have been shifted to hospitals for medical treatment.
