ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – Federal Interior Ministry on Tuesday decided to suspend the mobile phone service in as many as 68 districts of the country on 9th, and 10th Muharram (October 23 and October 24).
According to a statement the step is being taken on request of provincial governments.
According to the announcement out of the 68 districts, 34 are in Punjab, 8 in Sindh, 15 in KP, 3 in Balochistan, 1 in Gilgit Baltistan and 7 in Azad Kashmir.
Interior Ministry has also chalked out a comprehensive security plan on the account of Ashoora days.
