ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – Three men, allegedly involved in the suicide attack on late Punjab home minister Shuja Khanzda, were arrested from a madrassa in Islamabad on Thursday night.
During a joint operation of the counter terrorism department and Rangers, the accused were arrested and shifted to an unknown location for interrogation, according to sources in security agencies.

Intelligence agencies had earlier this arrested two suspected militants from Faisalabad in connection with the attack.

According to initial findings, most wanted terrorist Matiur Rehman is also likely to be involved in the attack.
Rehman is wanted for the attempted assassination of former military ruler Gen (retd) Pervez Musharraf in 2003.
He was also wanted for attacks on former Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz and the suicide bombing on Sheraton Hotel in Karachi.
