Shah asks Sharif to remove PCB chairman after defeat by West Indies

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Syed Khursheed Shah, leader of the opposition in national assembly, pleaded Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to immediately remove the incumbent Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman.

Shah said, while talking to media, that such irresponsible performance by Pakistan cricket team against West Indies during a mega event is acceptable. Cricket is polluted by politics, he added.

He proposed the government to appoint former cricket professionals like Javed Miandad and Waseem Akram in PCB for improvement.

In an answer to a question, leader of the opposition said MQM keeps joining and leaving Sindh government and this matter is not serious for me.
