Preity Zinta s ex beau Ness Wadia chargesheeted for molesting Bollywood star

MUMBAI – The Marine Drive Police have filed a charge sheet against Ness Wadia, the former beau of Preity Zinta, nearly four years after the Indian actor filed a complaint over alleged molestation.

Wadia was also present and granted bail on a personal surety of Rs 20,000 as the police submitted the 200-page charge sheet in the court of the chief metropolitan magistrate, according to a report in Mumbai Mirror.

Preity had file a complaint under Indian Penal Code (IPC) sections 354 (assault or criminal force against woman with intent to outrage her modesty), 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of peace), 506 (criminal intimidation), and 509 (word, gesture, or act intended to insult the modesty of woman).

The case was filed against Wadia on June 30, 2014 on the incident that took place on May 30, 2014 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

The actress had accused Wadia of verbally abusing her and even molesting her by grabbing her arm. Preity filed the complaint along with photographs which showed ‘bruise-like’ marks on her right arm.

Gene Goodenough, who Preity married in 2016, is one of the witnesses of the incident. He stated that he had intervened when the incident took place.

Wadia was present in the court and granted bail on a personal surety of Rs 20,000 as the police submitted the 200-page charge sheet.

Earlier, Wadia had quoted that he was “shocked and dismayed by such baseless allegations.”

Surprising enough, the duo were snapped together bonding IPL match last year and other auctions as well despite the current state of the case.
