ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif urged the chief ministers of all provinces to implement the unanimously devised National Action Plan to root out the militancy in Pakistan.
While addressing a session to review the progress of implementation on National Action Plan he went on to say that apex committees has been formed in all provinces and now provincial governments must conduct regular meetings of the committees for better cooperation.
The meeting was attended by Chief of Army Staff General raheel Sharif, DG Inter Services Intelligence Lt. General Rizwan Akhter, provincial chief ministers and members of federal cabinet.
Prime minister said that any mistake in the fight against terrorism was acceptable. Two steps of agreed plan were already implemented by legal reforms but still provincial governments need to take steps for complete implementation, he added.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif stressed that every institution must go hand in hand with others for quickest action against militants.
The progress made for establishment of military courts and defining the process to send cases to the courts was also discussed in the session.
