KARACHI – Police on Friday registered A case against a Frontier Constabulary (FC) official after he slapped a female reporter of a local news channel at a Nadra office in Liaquatabad.
On Thursday, a female reporter of a private TV channel K-21, who was doing a live programme about the problems faced by citizens at NADRA registration office and tried to speak to a guard, deployed outside the office. On this, the guard became furious and slapped the reporter.

A video of the slapping went viral on social media. The concerned police station registered an FIR after showing the video footage.

Moreover, police officials said Nadra officials have also submitted an application against the TV channel reporter for creating “hindrances in official work”.
