Larkana: Tortured cadet gets US visa, will be treated in Ohio

KARACHI – A student of Cadet College Larkana who was left paralysed after his teacher tortured him, has been issued a US visa for treatment at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.

Muhammad Ahmed and his father Muhammad Rashid have been issued a visa valid for 6 months. According to the father, the hospital has estimated cost of treatment to be close to $250,000.

According to the the Sindh Health Minister Dr. Sikander Mahendro, Rs 50 million had been approved by the Chief Minister Sindh Sayed Murad Ali Shah for Ahmed’s treatment and the funds had already been released by the Accountant General of Sindh.

Muhammad Ahmed broke sensitive bones of his neck after being strangulated and suffered a paralytic attack due to which his left limbs were deadened.
