Cable operators end strike

KARACHI – The cable operators have announced to end their strike that resulted in the suspension of Television cable services in many cities across the country.

According to media details, Chairman of Pakistan Cable Operators Association, Khalid Arain announced the end of the strike, which had deprived the citizens of TV transmission in several cities.

The cable operators had called for the strike against the auction of Direct to Home (DTH) satellite service.

Lahore High Court (LHC) on Tuesday stayed the DTH auction, which was scheduled to take place on November 23.

The court said directed concerned authorities to postpone the DTH auction as it reserved a verdict in the case.
