Congratulations to Team Mah-E-Mir!
The drama film starring Iman Ali & Fahad Mustafa has won over accolades and hearts at the Guam International Film Festival for the ‘Best Narrative Film’ Award, and Pakistanis cannot contain their happiness right now.
Inspired by the ‘notorious, famed madness’ of 18th century Urdu poet Mir Taqi Mir, the film won an award at a Film Festival in Guam, a small island located in the Western Pacific Ocean.
Mah-e-Mir was screened as part of the official selection of the festival, which included around 60 films, according to its website.
Director Anjum Shehzad was present to receive the award after the film’s special screening.
He also spoke to the audience and addressed all the questions they had, reportedly.
