Pakistan cricket team arrives in Hamilton for second test

HAMILTON – The Pakistan cricket team reached Hamilton on Tuesday morning to play the second test match against New Zealand.

The green shirts will take part in a training session on Wednesday, before facing the Black Caps at Seddon Park on Friday.

New Zealand beat Pakistan by eight wickets in the first Test at Hagley Oval, Christchurch as Pakistan struggled with batting on the fast green pitch.

Pakistan will be without their captain Misbah-ul-Haq in the second Test, who had to rush home owing to the death of his father-in-law.

Azhar Ali will lead the team for the second test.
