ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra) Thursday approved a reduction of Rs2.88 per unit in power rates of all distribution companies, except K-Electric, on account of monthly fuel price adjustment, Samaa reported.
According to Nepra, the fuel cost in September remained at Rs 3.55 per unit but the customers were charged Rs 6.43 per unit.
The approval would give relief worth Rs 24 billion to the consumers.
