LAHORE – Pakistan Muslim League (N) supremo Nawaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz are set to visit United Kingdom in the first week of November.
As per media reports, the father-daughter duo will fly from Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport, with a stopover in Dubai en route to London.
After a two-day stay in British capital, the former PM will fly to the US, where he plans to spend four days before returning.
The upcoming visit of PML-N top guns is a private tour, as Nawaz used to have medical checkups periodically. A senator of his party said Nawaz is going on a routine visit though he, too, claimed no knowledge of any specific travel plans.
