RAWALPINDI (Web Desk) – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif visited Lahore Garrison on Tuesday evening.
The COAS also participated in the commemorations for Golden Jubilee celebrations of 11th Infantry Division.
While talking to the participants, Gen. Sharif said that the history of Pakistan Army bears testimony to the fact that its men have displayed unprecedented resolve, dedication and sacrifices for the defence of the motherland.
The COAS went on to say that exceptional performance of the Battle Axe Division in Indo-Pak wars and its contributions in the ongoing war on terror fully substantiates its phenomenal standing as a fighting entity.
He further said that the victories at Khemkaran and Hussainiwala sectors speak volumes of valour displayed by all ranks associated with this Division.
