The judge Khalida Yasmin ordered for sending Dr Asim on judicial remand and sought list of witnesses on next hearing.
Public prosecutor Nisar Durrani in Dr Asim case was not present in the court during the hearing of the case. Counsels for NAB and Rangers were present in the court.
Dr Asim said during the hearing that “ I am under detention since 120 days. I was arrested on August 27 and it is wrong to say that investigation was not conducted when I was in the custody of Rangers. I should not be sent on further physical remand. Physical remand will be injustice to me.”
