“Why are all the advertisement campaigns running after Mahira Khan? Don’t they see Meera?” questioned a very angry Meera, according to Roznama Dunia, an Urdu daily.
Meera has responded to all the hype created by the movie ‘Raees’ starring Shahrukh Khan and Mahira Khan in lead roles.
Meera has issued a couple of statements in the past on Mahira Khan, and has now demanded a ban on Raees in Pakistan.
Raees is all set to release worldwide on 25 January, 2017.
The release of Raees in Pakistan is not certain as yet, but distributors have been said to be trying hard to get the Non-Objection Certificate (NOC) from the federal government, which is required to import foreign films.
Meera has criticized the media for ignoring senior artists of the country in dramas and advertisements many times.
