ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – A Ukranian woman, who was recovered from Mithi city on Sunday, has been reunited with her family, after three long years of captivity.
31-year-old Katrina was allegedly kidnapped about three years ago in Rawalpindi.
On Sunday, law-enforcement officials recovered Katrina from the village of Katho, in the limits of the Khensar police station.
Her husband and one of her children met her in Karachi on Monday.
According to Tharparkar police chief, a joint team of police and Rangers raided the village and recovered Katrina and her suspected kidnapper Abdul Munaf Nohrio.
Katrina told police that she was kidnapped in Rawalpindi and then taken to Tharparkar.
However, Munaf’s parents claimed that Katrina was their daughter-in-law.
