TURKEY (Web Desk) – Toyota has officially revealed images of the new Corolla, which was spotted in Turkey earlier.
The new Corolla Altis is a revamped version of the older model, including reworked headlamps with DRL’s (daytime running lamp),a new grille and modified bumper sporting a different air dam in the front.
Cabin specifications in the new Corolla have yet to be released. Reports suggest that the car will feature technological updates like a Pre-Collision System (PCS), Lane Departure Alert (LDA), Road Sign Assist (RSA) and Automatic High Beam (AHB).
The petrol version of the Altis will pack a 1.8-liter four-cylinder, while the diesel version will be powered by the four-cylinder 1.4-liter engine. Both these engines come with a six-speed manual gearbox.
Toyota is all set to launch the Corolla in European markets, for which Turkey is the production hub.
