KARACHI- 2018 has been a successful year for Pakistani filmmakers and showbiz industry, and the cherry on top was Aamina Sheikh and Sanam Saeed starrer Cake.
This movie was the debut production of Asim Abbasi and Zulfiqar Bukhari. After the success of Cake, they will be presenting three feature films in future in collaboration with B4Umotion pictures and both of the companies will be co-producing together for local and international audiences.
While talking to the media representative, B4U motion pictures head Sunil Shah stated, “We are always looking to nurture talent and build long-term relationships with producers, and are delighted to be collaborating once again with the creative minds behind Cake with the aim of delivering wholesome entertainment to audiences.”
The production will be working on three feature films across diverse genres including drama, comedy, and thriller. The comedy film will be scheduled and completed by the end of this year and it will be shoot in Uk.
Asim Abbasi and Zulfiqar Bukhari’s first film ‘Cake’ became the first ever Pakistani film to have a world premiere at London’s iconic home for international film premieres, Leicester Square. At UK Asian Film Festival Asim Abbasi won the best director award.
Asim is very hopeful for a bright future of Pakistani film industry, saying “Sayed and I have a unified vision for Pakistani Cinema – positioning our films on the world stage by telling culturally specific stories with a universal resonance, and giving cinemagoers diverse content to choose from. B4U has been a pioneer in bringing Pakistani films to an international audience, making this partnership a natural fit.”
