Corps Commander Lahore inspects military drill near Jhelum

ISLAMABAD – Corps Commander Lahore Lieutenant General Amir Riaz on Thursday inspected a military drill held at Tilla Jogian near Jhelum, ISPR said.

According to the statement issued by military’s media wing, the Corps Commander directed troops to boost their operational exercises, which are repeated every winter under collective training.

On Nov 17, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited Headquarters Rawalpindi Corps. COAS was given comprehensive briefing on prevalent situation along LOC / Line of Actual Contact (LAC) and operational preparedness of the formations.

While expressing his satisfaction on operational preparedness and response to Indian CFVs COAS said that there cannot be any loopholes in the preparedness for response against perpetual threat on our Eastern Border including LOC / LAC.
