MQM-London leaders moved to central jail Karachi

KARACHI – Following the registration of a case against the three detained members of Muttahida Qaumi Movement-London Rabita committee, the trio has been moved to Karachi’s central prison.

“The MQM London leaders – Hassan Zafar Arif, Kunwar Khalid Younus and Amjadullah were booked on charges of instigating masses to violence and over slogans against the country”, reported Geo News on Sunday.

The case was lodged with Artillery Maidan police. They were shifted to prison under stringent security late this night.

Police officials said the three leaders were moved in view of potent threats to law and order in the megapolis.

Rangers officials on Saturday detained the MQM leaders of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) London when they were about to hold a press conference at Karachi Press Club.
